In 2007, we called Saine Marketing after recording a 25% decline in sales over five years. Their consultants first conducted an in-depth study of consumers and staff, then helped us create a marketing plan capable of re-launching the bulk wine category.
This effort helped us reinvent the concept of our outlets: the savings for clients went from 15% to 35%; the pricing structure was clearly displayed with wines at $5, $6, $7, and $8; the product quality was significantly improved; each bottle was assigned an attractive label; twistcaps were introduced to facilitate the process and the communication strategy was completely re-designed.
The launch, in May 2008, was successful beyond all hopes, and our revenue grew by 47% during the first six months. Well done!"
